It's Always Sunny: 10 Best Mac & Dennis Episodes | ScreenRant
Mac and Dennis have always been one of It’s Always Sunny’s funniest duos. They live together and share an unhealthily co-dependent relationship – they check in on each other and call the police in a panic if they’re apart for more than an hour – but it’s also clear that Dennis doesn’t really like Mac all that much.
Throughout It’s Always Sunny’s historic run, Mac and Dennis have shared some hilarious storylines, both as allies and as enemies. From moving to the suburbs to taking part in an underground fight club, these are the best Always Sunny episodes exemplifying Mac and Dennis’ friendship.
10 Hundred Dollar Baby (Season 2, Episode 5)

In season 2’s “Hundred Dollar Baby,” Mac and Dennis enter Charlie in an underground fight club to make some quick cash when they realize he can take a ruthless beating.
However, when Charlie fails to show up, Mac reluctantly has to take his place. Dennis secretly bets against him and nets a sweet profit, which is revealed when they get mugged after the fight.
9 Mac And Dennis Buy A Timeshare (Season 9, Episode 4)

When Mac and Dennis hear that they’ll get a free set of golf clubs if they just listen to a sales pitch about a timeshare, they think they’ll breeze through the meeting and leave with their free clubs and no commitment to a shared property.
However, as the title “Mac and Dennis Buy a Timeshare” would suggest, it doesn’t exactly pan out that way and they get tricked by the salesman into investing even more than he’s asking for.
8 Mac And Dennis: Manhunters (Season 4, Episode 1)

While Frank is going out and hunting down exotic meats that Dee and Charlie keep stealing in the season 4 premiere “Mac and Dennis: Manhunters,” Mac and Dennis claim there’s no challenge in hunting a defenseless animal, and that the ultimate prey is man.
They get kitted out with a bunch of hunting gear and post up around the city, searching for Cricket. Unfortunately, they find that hunting Cricket is easier said than done, because he’s somehow a parkour master.
7 Paddy’s Pub: Home Of The Original Kitten Mittens (Season 5, Episode 8)

When Charlie comes up with a ludicrous idea to sell mittens for cats in season 5’s “Paddy’s Pub: Home of the Original Kitten Mittens,” Mac and Dennis decide to come up with their own Hard Rock Café-style merchandising for the bar.
Frank starts his own competing merchandising idea and when he comes over to brag about his product – a gun that shoots booze into customers’ mouths – they instantly steal it.
6 The Gang Exploits The Mortgage Crisis (Season 5, Episode 1)

Frank buys a house at a foreclosure auction in the season 5 premiere “The Gang Exploits the Mortgage Crisis,” but runs into problems when the current tenants refuse to leave.
In order to save himself a realtor’s commission, Frank tasks Mac and Dennis with selling the house using a “good realtor/bad realtor” dynamic under the guise of Hugh Honey and Vic Vinegar, “partners in real estate and partners in life.”
5 Mac Bangs Dennis’ Mom (Season 2, Episode 4)

When Frank’s ex-wife hears that he’s been dating in the season 2 episode “Mac Bangs Dennis’ Mom,” she sleeps with Mac to get revenge. Charlie wants revenge against Dennis for sleeping with the Waitress, so he shows him Mac leaving his mom’s house after sex.
Naturally, this gets Dennis all riled up and he wants to exact his own revenge. However, when he reluctantly tries to seduce Mac’s mom, much to his surprise, he gets roundly rejected.
4 The Great Recession (Season 5, Episode 3)

Frank loses all his money to the titular financial crisis in season 5’s “The Great Recession,” so he abandons the bar and buys an RV in which he plans to live and sell knives and vacuums door-to-door.
In the meantime, Mac and Dennis print out a bunch of their own currency to get the customers flooding in, but they find that the customers are just using their coupons to get free booze and then leaving without buying their own. At this point, they admit that they don’t know how to create “a self-sustaining economy.”
3 The Gang Dines Out (Season 8, Episode 9)

The Gang goes out for dinner at Gugino’s in season 8’s “The Gang Dines Out,” but they’re sitting at three different tables. Mac and Dennis are having their monthly roommate dinner, Charlie and Frank are celebrating an anniversary, and Dee is using a Groupon alone.
While Dee thinks the others are conspiring against her, the truth is that they don’t even realize she’s there. Mac and Dennis get into a standoff with Charlie and Frank over who will “pay tribute.” Dennis and Frank are locked in a power struggle, while Mac and Charlie just want to defuse the tension and get it over with.
2 Mac & Dennis Break Up (Season 5, Episode 9)

Mac and Dennis’ co-dependent relationship is laid bare in season 5’s “Mac & Dennis Break Up,” in which Dee points out that they spend too much time together and Dennis decides he needs to take a break from his friendship with Mac.
Dennis goes over to Dee’s place and annoys her with his neediness, while Mac goes over to Frank and Charlie’s and irritates him with his bossiness.
1 Mac & Dennis Move To The Suburbs (Season 11, Episode 5)

Without a doubt, Mac and Dennis’ most hilarious misadventure is season 11’s “Mac & Dennis Move to the Suburbs,” in which they rent a giant house out in the suburbs and are promptly displeased with the commute, the isolation, and the loud pool filter.
Unfortunately for Mac and Dennis, they can’t just move back to the city because they’ve made a deal with Frank that if they can’t last a month in the suburbs, they have to sleep with an old man for a year. Of course, they eventually crack.
