Bachelor In Paradise: Details About The Official Season 7 Cast

ABC has finally announced the official cast for Bachelor In Paradise season 7, while also teasing more cast announcements to come as the BIP premiere nears. The cast is comprised of 19 contestants from Matt James', Peter Weber's, and Colton Underwood's seasons of The Bachelor, as well as Becca Kufrin's, Clare Crawley's/Tayshia Adams', and Katie Thurston's seasons of The Bachelorette.

Along with the introduction of the official Bachelor In Paradise season 7 cast, ABC also shared a look at the new promo images on social media. Similar to previous seasons, the show's new look features a couple walking down a beach towards a sunset, leaving their swimsuits behind them in the sand. However, instead of the usual slogan about love that ABC typically adds to the promos, the slogan for season 7 is "Drop Everything. It's Back." This is meant to remind fans that the BIP spinoff is coming back after taking a year off with the hopes to be bigger and better than ever before. This will also be the first season of Paradise without Chris Harrison hosting, so it will feature a slew of celebrity guest hosts instead.

With 13 women and 10 men making up the first 23 contestants, there's bound to be drama on Bachelor In Paradise this year. Six of the women will be coming from the most recent season of The Bachelor, including the first impression rose winner Abigail Heringer. Other additions from season 25 are Serena Pitt, who made it to hometowns with Matt James, and the drama queen herself, Victoria Larson. Six women will be coming from Peter Weber's season, including former Miss Iowa USA Kelsey Weier, fan-favorite Victoria Paul, and Maurissa Gunn, who was one of the women Peter sent home on night one. Alas, Maurissa won't be the only contestant in Paradise that was eliminated on night one. Tahzjuan Hawkins, who appeared on Colton Underwood's season and was sent home night one, will be coming back to BIP.

As for the men on BIP season 7, most of the official cast is made up of contestants from Katie Thurston's season and Clare Crawley's/Tayshia Adams' season of The Bachelorette. Brendan Morais and Ivan Hall both made it to hometowns, but neither of them officially made it to the final two after Ben Smith returned in week 12. Karl Smith was the first contestant from Katie's season to be named to the official cast. He will now be joined by James Bonsall, Tre Cooper, Connor Brennan, and Aaron Clancy, who were all eliminated in week 5 of Katie's season. According to the latest rumors, smooth-talker Thomas Jacobs will also be appearing as a late addition, and will reportedly start a relationship with former Bachelorette lead Becca Kufrin.

Joe Amabile, also known as Grocery Store Joe from Becca's season, will once again return to Paradise after ending his relationship with fellow season 5 cast member Kendall Long in January 2020. Though it's nice to see a familiar face on Bachelor In Paradise, it has been rumored that Joe and Natasha Parker are only on the show to promote their podcast. As for who has the advantage in week one, fans have figured out that going into the first rose ceremony, the men will have the advantage based on rumors.
