How to Use Dr. Mundo's New Abilities in League of Legends

After months of hype, League of Legends is finally releasing the rework of one of the games’ original champions Dr. Mundo. The Madman of Zaun’s kit will be getting a freshly modernized kit come the patch 11.12 update.
Dr Mundo’s new abilities aren’t too far off from his original ones – his Q and R remain mostly identical. The changes are centered around his passive, his W, and his E. Here’s what all Dr. Mundo’s reworked abilities do, and how to use them.

Here is Dr. Mundo’s new ability set:
Passive: Goes Where He Pleases
- Dr. Mundo resists the next immobilizing effect that hits him. Instead, he loses current health and drops a chemical canister nearby. Dr. Mundo can pick it up by walking over it, restoring a portion of his max health and reducing the passive’s cooldown. If any enemy moves over the canister, the canister will be destroyed.
- Dr. Mundo also has increased health regeneration based on his maximum health.
Q: Infected Bonesaw
- Dr. Mundo throws an infected bonesaw, dealing magic damage to the first enemy hit based on their current health. The enemy will also be slowed.
W: Heart Zapper
- Dr. Mundo electrocutes himself, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies and storing a portion of damage he takes as grey health. After the electrocution, Dr. Mundo deals a burst of magic damage to nearby enemies and heals his grey health if an enemy is hit. Recasting Heart Zapper will end its effects early.
E: Blunt Force Trauma
- Active: Dr. Mundo slams his medical bag into an enemy, dealing physical damage based on his missing health. If the enemy dies, they are swatted away, dealing this ability’s minimum damage to enemies they pass through.
- Passive: Dr. Mundo has bonus attack damage, increasing based on his missing health.
R: Maximum Dosage
- Dr. Mundo pumps himself with chemicals, instantly healing a perfect of his missing health. He then heals a portion of his maximum health of a long duration, gaining bonus movement speed and attack damage while healing.
While Dr. Mundo has been a top and jungle champion, his update makes the champion increasingly viable as a jungler. The update is meant to make Mundo feel modern and upgraded, however, his kit is still kept simple. Thus, Mundo mains should still be able to enjoy the champion as they always were, and new players should be able to pick him up and have a good time with relative ease.
On top of the ability update, all of Dr. Mundo’s skins have received a complete visual overhaul. His base skin has been changed to give him more of a crazed look, and his skins have been updated to reflect his new modernized look.
League of Legends’ 11.12 patch is set to go live on June 9, it is unclear if Dr. Mundo’s rework will go live the same day as the initial patch release. However, Mundo’s gameplay testing will be available in the Public Beta Environment for the next two weeks.
League of Legends is available for Windows and MacOS.
