The Owl House Season 2 Premiere Exclusive Clip | Screen Rant

An exclusive clip from the season 2 premiere of The Owl House shows Luz face off against a Garlog. Created by DuckTales animator Dana Terrace, Owl House is one of the Disney channel's most ambitious and popular series. The show was renewed for a second season in 2019 prior to its premiere in 2020 and now, ahead of its season 2 premiere on June 12, Owl House has been renewed for a third season comprised of three 44-minute specials, which will be its final season. The Disney Channel show is among the top-five animated series on cable with the age 6-11 demographic and has amassed over 58 million views on YouTube.
A unique blend of fantasy and comedy, The Owl House follows a self-assured teenage girl, Luz, who finds a gateway to a magical realm occupied by a tiny warrior named King and a rebellious witch named Eda. Although she has no magical powers herself, Luz is able to live out her dream as a witch by acting as Eda’s apprentice at the titular Owl House and eventually befriends the mismatched duo. The animated series is voiced by Sarah-Nicole Robles as Luz, Wendie Malick as Eda, and Alex Hirsch as King. Additional characters are voiced by Matthew Rhys, Issac Ryan Brown, and Tati Gabrielle.
Now, an exclusive clip from the season 2 premiere of the Disney Channel series shows Luz’s first foray into the bounty hunting game. On her latest adventure, she encounters a seemingly terrifying monster, but soon realizes it is just a ruse. Overall, the episode finds Luz feeling guilty about Eda losing her powers, so she ventures out in search of a lucrative bounty that will help the Owl House. Based on this clip, it appears season 2 will pick up right where the previous season left off. In the aftermath of the conflict with Emperor Belos, the team must pick up the pieces to return Luz to the Human Realm. Though The Owl House already boasts an impressive voice cast, Peter Gallagher, Felicia Day, Harvey Guillén, Nik Dodani, Alex Lawther, and Debra Wilson will be among the guest stars for season 2.
The Owl House has some overt influences from Lord of the Rings and other fantasy series, especially in the clip above, but with a lighthearted twist that makes the series suitable for kids. The upcoming season of The Owl House will debut new episodes every Saturday through August 14 on Disney Channel and DisneyNow.
